A Bit About Me

I'm a writer and typical coffee addict from Washington State. I worked for the Navy for eight years before deciding to pursue writing. I'm currently looking for a literary agent to work with.

His Infinite Moment

Writing prompt from friend: Some Silly Writing

January 22, 2017

He hops down the stairs and into the kitchen but stops short. His eyes gloss over, vacant to the world as he searches his thoughts for what he has forgotten. In this moment he is not his own, he is malleable and pliable. The smallest suggestion could convince him to completely change. He is lost even to himself in this moment. Yet, this moment is his infinity. What will come to him as he reaches into the electrical firings of his mind? Will he find something completely new, deep and profound? Or will he recall something painful and unbalancing? But then, with a sudden certainty, he finds the thought he had thought lost. His confidence returns, knowing who and where and what is. He strides to the closet, grabs a roll of toilet paper and bounds back up the stairs.
